ABOUT LILY AND MINT

Lily + Mint was born of a passion for art and nature that I have always had while growing up in beautiful Northern California. The name honors my grandmother Lily, and represents the history and family tradition behind weddings and special occasions. Mint is representative of all of the new, fresh and modern ideas that we incorporate into each event.

I consider my floral design to be an art form, and find joy in designing unique, seasonal and organic pieces for my clients. I’ve loved many forms of expressing my creativity since childhood, and have found a passion in flowers. 

I recently moved back to my beautiful hometown of Ukiah, California and it is my goal to support the community using sustainable and locally sourced blooms. I have a small barn studio and recently have found joy in learning to garden and grow my own flowers.

I hold a BA from UC San Diego and am certified in Event Planning. Before designing flowers I was a wedding planner, so I am well versed in the industry. I have trained and worked with some of the Bay Area's top designers, and also taken many inspiring workshops with my floral heroes.

In my spare time I love trying new creative endeavors (film photography, painting, ceramics, etc), traveling, antiques and bargain hunting, and so much more. I especially love spending time with my husband Josh and my son Ari, often taking day trips to explore our beautiful surroundings.  I'd love to get to know a little bit about you, too!
